The 105 Series were a range of coupes made by the Italian manufacturer from 1963 until 1977, the basic body shape shared by all models was designed by the great Giorgetto Giugiaro for Bertone as one of his first major projects.
The 105 series coupe featured the GT (Gran Turismo) model description, which was common to all models in one form or another.

40th Anniversary of the Maserati Khamsin
2012 will also celebrate the famed Maserati Khamsin sports car which was originally introduced as a Bertone prototype in 1972 at the Turin Motor Show. In 1973 it was put on display at the Paris Motor Show where it was formally badged as a Maserati.
Production of the Khamsin spanned from 1974 - 1982 with only 430 vehicles ever produced, unfortunately even with the beautiful design Khamsin did not give Maserati the success it needed.
The Khamsin is remembered for its unique design features, low entry, top speed potential and the classic deep hum of the engine. A rare and beautiful edition to Italian car history.
