What is an Italian vehicle?
For the purposes of Auto Italia, the organisers are looking for a display cars, bikes and scooters that are made by brands/makes/marques that were founded in Italy and have or had a strong connection to the country. The country of manufacture is a good indicator, but an Alfa Romeo made in South Africa or Fiat made in Poland are identifiably Italian in ethos, while a Jeep Renegade made in Italy feels American.
There are many cars that have Italian stylists such as Giorgetto Giugiaro, Giovanni Michelotti and Pininfarina, but their character is largely from the engineering. For the Italian Cars Association, these are not Italian cars and we respectfully ask that you do not enter them in the event. We also ask that you do not enter replicas of Italian vehicles based on chassis of other cars.

Once you have registered, please print your ticket and bring it with you on the day. Alternatively, if you're technically comfortable you can bring your ticket up on your phone for us to scan when you arrive at the gate, on the day. Since 2022, we have not be taking cash payments for tickets on the day. As well as facilitating our COVID plan through contactless payments, having everyone registered speeds up the entry process and helps us to plan the event layout.

Entry for display vehicles commences at 8.00am - 9:45 am. The event starts at 10.00am. If you would like your car to be considered for judging, it must be in before 10.00am. Cars participating in the judging will recieve a small red sticker to go on the top right of the windscreen. We will require display cars to remain until the conclusion of the presentations.
Please note: If you haven't pre-registered your vehicle, we can't guarantee that you will be able to display it at Auto Italia on the day. If the display allocations are full you will have to park your vehicle in the spectators area.
